Seller Terms

Texas Surplus Marketplace is an advertising and listing platform only. We are not a broker, dealer, retailer, or transaction facilitator. We do not handle payments between buyers and sellers, arrange pickups, guarantee sales, or verify item condition.

• You must provide accurate, honest descriptions of all items listed.
• You must provide clear, representative photos of the actual items.
• You are responsible for answering all buyer questions directly via text or phone.
• You are responsible for scheduling and coordinating all pickups with buyers.
• You must be available during your stated pickup window to meet buyers.
• You must ensure items are safe to handle and load.

Items must be competitively and honestly priced. Texas Surplus Marketplace is a clearance and surplus marketplace — buyers expect deals. Overpriced listings will not sell and may be declined at admin discretion. Listing fees are non-refundable. If your item doesn't sell, consider it wasn't priced low enough.

• The current listing fee is $100 per grouped listing.
• A grouped listing may contain multiple similar items and up to 5 photos.
• Fees are charged at the time of submission and are non-refundable once listing work begins.
• Listings are typically posted within 24 hours of payment and admin approval.

• Listings are paid for an initial 2-week listing period.
• The admin may choose to keep listings visible beyond this period at their discretion.
• The admin may remove, hide, or mark listings sold at any time without notice.
• Sellers should notify the admin when an item has sold so the listing can be updated.

Texas Surplus Marketplace reserves the right to decline, remove, or unpublish any listing that is:

• Unclear, incomplete, or misleading
• Overpriced or not a genuine surplus deal
• Prohibited items (stolen goods, hazardous materials, illegal items)
• Poor quality, blurry photos, or insufficient description
• Duplicates or spam listings

Paid listings will be promoted on our Texas Surplus Marketplace Facebook page. We cannot guarantee specific reach, impressions, or sales from this promotion. Promotion is on a best-effort basis and subject to platform availability.

Texas Surplus Marketplace is not responsible for:

• Item condition, accuracy, or seller representations
• Any disputes between buyers and sellers
• Payment issues between parties
• Pickup issues, no-shows, or scheduling problems
• Injuries or damages occurring during pickup or handling
• Any transactions, agreements, or disputes between buyers and sellers

By submitting a listing and completing payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Seller Terms in full.
